Food & Beverage

We take great pride in sourcing quality food vendors that use sustainable, locally sourced and amazing ingredients. At APP-FEST the environment and sustainability is at its heart and will only partner with traders that are conscious about offering great tasting food delivered to the public which has the least impact on the environment when it comes to packaging and waste disposal.

There will be a wide selection of food to cater for everybody whether vegan, vegetarian, carnivore and including all other dietary requirements

We will be having various bars that will also be managed in a fully environmentally friendly manner where only biodegradable packaging and drinking vessels will be used. For obvious reasons, no glass will be permitted on site including the camping area.

There will be a fabulous selection of wines by the glass, cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks and shakes. We will have a Gin and Juice Bar, a Vodka & Rum bar and a main bar serving locally sourced Ciders and Real Ales plus some great Lagers.

At APP-FEST we believe in value for money and even though you can not bring your own drinks into the main arena and are limited to what you can bring in to the camping area, the good news is that we will be operating at where possible standard pub prices and not heavily inflated prices like other events.

Family Entertainment

Family and Community is at the heart of APP-FEST and we want everybody to enjoy themselves of all ages. There will be plenty of activities to keep everybody entertained throughout the festival. From bouncy castles, inflatable assault courses and a funfair for all ages plus much more.

Cashless Bars

Appfest 2024 will be using a Cashless Bar Service utilizing high speed secure Credit/Debit Card Systems using our purpose built 5G Satellite Network. This means service will be extra quick, extra secure, literally Zap and Go.

The Bars will be charging £2 per festival cup on your first purchase. You must keep these cups with you at all times to avoid further charges. You can swap them at the bars if you need to. These will remain your property after the event of a memento of your time at Appfest.

Camping at Festival

Camping

We have secured a camping area, which can easily accommodate all you lovely people!  We have colour zoned the site, which means that motorhomes and campervans will be placed in one area with tents in another.  We are also looking at the possibility of being able to create a quieter camping area for those with children, at the time of writing this is not yet confirmed.

The campsite is located near the main festival field. On arrival you will be directed to the onsite parking area. From here you must carry your tents etc to the nearby tenting area. It’s not a long walk but trolleys are recommended. Cars must be kept separate to tents except in the disabled camping area.

COVID 19 FESTIVAL POLICY

At APP-FEST our priority is the safety of all festival goers, employees, traders and artists. We will follow instructions and regulations of the local authorities and current government guidelines and regulations at the time of the festival.

FACE COVERINGS

In England, face coverings are no longer mandatory from 27th January, in line with recent government guidance.

Although, we still recommend our attendees to wear a face covering in tight spaces. However, this is now your personal choice and we leave it to your discretion. Please be aware of others around you who may still choose to wear one.

HAND SANTISERS AND HAND WASHING

We will be providing a number of hand sanitising stations as well as increasing the number of toilets on site.

All employee and customer toilets will continue to be stocked with anti-bacterial hand soap and handwashing guidelines will remain in place.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

We will implement social distancing if it is required. We will follow the Government guidelines at the time of the festival.

E-TICKETS

Tickets for App-Fest are digital reducing the handling of paperwork when entering the festival.

CASHLESS

We have a cashless system. This removes the handling of cash.

COVID-19 TESTING

We are trying to make the festival as safe as possible for everyone. We are encouraging everyone to take a lateral flow test before arriving. This puts more people at ease. Find out more about lateral flow tests on the NHS Website.

TRAINING & PPE

If the Government requirements at the time require this all our employees and traders will receive a specific COVID-19 briefing and PPE will be provided to staff where the risk assessment has deemed it necessary.
