ABOUT APP-FEST
Our Story
App-Fest began in 2008, when founder Daniel Pardoe launched what was then the Farmers Arms Apperley Festival in the gardens and fields of his village pub near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. For more than a decade, the festival thrived in that small rural setting, quickly becoming a highlight for locals. Villagers soon gave it their own new name - App-Fest - and from that moment a community driven, charity focused festival was born! From the very start, the goal was simple: bring people together through great music while raising money and awareness for worthy causes. Over the years, App-Fest has proudly supported charities including Winston’s Wish, Cancer Research, Help for Heroes, Air Ambulance and many more.
Growing Together
For 10 years, App-Fest sold out at the Farmers Arms, welcoming thousands of people and raising vital funds. With a demand for tickets growing, the festival moved to a bigger venue to give even more people the chance to enjoy the experience while continuing its community and charity work. After two years of postponements during the pandemic, App-Fest returned in 2022 - bigger and better than ever! What began as a two day event grew into a four day celebration, with unforgettable performances from The Hoosiers, The Wurzels, Dodgy, Cast, Toploader, Chesney Hawkes and many more. In 2023, the momentum kept building with acts like Gabrielle, Republica, The Feeling, Starsailor, The Undertones, and our festival ambassador Chesney Hawkes lighting up the stage. From then on the festival grew each year, attracting more visitors and huge names such as Ella Henderson, Ash, Lightening Seeds, Louise, Embrace, Newton Faulkner, The Enemy and many more!
Today & Tomorrow
Now recognised as one of the UK’s best value and most family friendly festivals, App-Fest offers something for everyone. Alongside world-class music across two stages, there are inflatables, a funfair, lazer tag, massages and plenty more to keep all ages entertained - even the family dog is welcome! App-Fest 2026 is set to be bigger than ever, with an exciting line-ups to be announced over the coming months.
